Carbon Valley Dental Co. is a growing, locally owned general dental practice in Firestone, and we're looking for an experienced, dependable Dental Assistant to grow with us. We're looking for someone who is warm with patients, dependable for their team, confident chair-side, and excited to keep learning. What You'll Do Chairside assist for restorative, prosthetic, and general dental procedures Fabricate and seat temporary crowns and pack retraction cord Take digital scans and coordinate cases with our dental lab Adjust and deliver night guards, dentures, and other appliances Place clear aligner attachments and buttons — or learn with us Take radiographs Help keep sterilization, OSHA compliance, room turnover, and clinical flow running smoothly Help patients understand what's happening and make nervous patients feel comfortable What We're Looking For Required Dependable, consistent attendance — we're a small team, so everyone matters Colorado-compliant radiography (x-ray) certification (DANB RHS or CDA exam, CODA-accredited program, or Colorado Dental Board-approved on-the-job module) Current BLS/CPR certification, or willingness to complete the training we're hosting in October Warm communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform the essential functions of chairside assisting, with or without reasonable accommodation Strongly preferred 2+ years of chairside experience in general dentistry DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or expanded-duties training Experience with digital scanning and lab case coordination Conversational Spanish is a big plus but not required We use Curve Dental, a cloud-based modern practice management system. Curve experience is helpful but absolutely not required — it's easy to learn. The Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. with a full hour for lunch That means: Wednesdays off. Saturdays off. Sundays off. No weekends. No on-call. No getting sent home early without pay. And yes — you are paid starting at 7:30 because morning huddle and setup are work. Pay & Benefits $24.00–$28.00/hour , depending on experience and certifications.
