Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Romeo, MI

You will be expected to interact and provide excellent customer service and patient care to our wonderful patients and their families. This is a part-time position. 1-2 days at Pediatric Dentistry of Romeo with the potential to float to our other practices. Pay: Pay determined by experience and qualifications Duties: Perform dental cleanings, oral examinations, periodontal assessments, and cancer screenings. Take and develop dental X-rays and create dental impressions. Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments. Administer local anesthetics as directed. Remove plaque, calculus, stains, and excess cement using dental instruments. Review medical histories and accurately chart oral health conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment. Maintain patient recall and treatment records. Sterilize instruments and maintain dental equipment and supplies. Experience & Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications: Required: Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license/certification. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan and in active status.
