We have been proudly serving our community for over 18 years and are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our small, fun, team-oriented office! We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, dependable, and eager to grow with our practice. New graduates are welcome to apply! Position Details Position: Dental Assistant – Expanded Functions Location: St. Johns, FL – County Road 210 area Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Lunch: 1 hour Pay: Competitive and based on experience Experience: New graduates and experienced assistants welcome Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative procedures Set up and break down operatories Take dental X-rays Sterilization and infection control Pack cord and assist with crown procedures Digital scanning for crowns and nightguards Take impressions as needed Assist with expanded functions according to Florida guidelines and certifications Present treatment plans and obtain required consent forms Review post-treatment instructions with patients Complete the patient's walk-out appointment and schedule their next appointment when needed Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked operatories Assist with front-office duties when needed Our Office We use Eaglesoft and are committed to providing excellent patient care in a friendly, positive environment.
