Experienced EFDA Dental Assistant Please read carefully. Applicants without dental assisting experience and an EFDA certification will not be considered. City Dental Studio is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, high-standard practice. This is not a traditional dental office, and this position is not a fit for someone who wants to coast, be micromanaged, or work in a slow environment. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays ahead of the doctor, works well with the team, and takes pride in providing an elevated patient experience. Our office has eight operatories and uses advanced technology, including TRIOS and iTero scanners, CBCT imaging, and in-house 3D printing. We provide cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, restorative dentistry, implants, oral surgery, endodontics, family dentistry, and comprehensive care. The Ideal Candidate Has at least three years of dental assisting experience Holds a current EFDA certification Is reliable, punctual, professional, and accountable Is available to stay until the doctor completes the final patient and all closing duties are finished Takes initiative and does not wait to be told what needs to be done Anticipates the doctorâs needs and stays prepared throughout the day Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently Is outgoing, polished, and comfortable communicating with patients Takes pride in cleanliness, presentation, and organization Works well with the entire team and carries their share of the workload Accepts feedback professionally and is eager to improve Can troubleshoot, adapt, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Clinical Skills The ideal candidate should be comfortable with: Four-handed dentistry Digital X-rays, panoramic imaging, and CBCT scans TRIOS and iTero scanning Crown and bridge procedures Making temporary crowns and bridges Restorative dentistry, implants, oral surgery, endodontics, and Invisalign Sterilization and infection-control protocols Clinical notes and Open Dental or similar software Lab cases, room setup, supplies, and schedule preparation Patient education, postoperative instructions, and front-office handoffs We are willing to train the right experienced candidate on our systems, technology, and advanced clinical protocols. However, the applicant must already have a strong dental assisting foundation. Culture and Expectations We are a team-driven office with high standards.
