Overview Dr. Jose Montoya, a general dentist, and his wife, Dr. Ashley Ramsey, a board-certified pediatric dentist, are looking for a motivated and personable general dentist to join their practice at My Mouth/My Kidz Mouth Dental. The doctors have shared the same office for over 13 years and have built a friendly, traditional-style dental practice with a strong focus on patient care and quality dentistry. The general dentistry side is primarily fee-for-service, cash, and PPO insurance. We are happy to consider a new graduate who is eager to learn, grow, and become part of a supportive team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care Diagnose dental conditions through thorough patient assessments, utilizing medical imaging and understanding of dental and medical terminology Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs, preferences, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and state laws Utilize dental software systems like Dentrix to document medical records accurately and efficiently Conduct general dentistry procedures when necessary, ensuring a gentle approach for patients Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting; familiarity with dental office software such as Dentrix preferred Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical procedures including dental implants, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, orthodontics. Proficiency in medical documentation, medical imaging interpretation, and infection control practices Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures using clear language Ability to perform dental extractions, prosthodontics fabrication, and other advanced clinical procedures confidently Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines to ensure compliance at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your skills will directly improve patientsâ lives!
