Dental Assistant (Part-Time) Welly Dental Studio | Brandon, FL 24-30 hours per week | $20-$30 per hour PLEASE READ THIS PART FIRST We hold a high standard, and we would rather say so up front than have you discover it in week three. Welly is a small, boutique practice - there is nowhere to hide, and no one else to quietly pick up a dropped ball. If you are looking for a place where "good enough" passes, this is not it. If you take pride in a spotless operatory, a tray set correctly the first time, and a patient who leaves feeling genuinely cared for, keep reading. THE STANDARD WE HOLD Our team runs on eight standards we call The Welly Way. The ones that matter most in this role: We put the team first. If sterilization is backed up, you jump in - even though it isn't "your" job. No task is beneath anyone here. We take initiative. You see it, you own it, you solve it. You don't wait to be asked twice. We are coachable. Welly probably does some things differently from your last office. You give our way a real try, ask questions respectfully, and apply feedback without friction. We choose professionalism. Running thirty minutes behind does not change how you greet the next patient. Eye-rolling, sighing, and negativity are not our standard. We own the experience. Every interaction counts - using the patient's name, double-checking the op before seating them, the unhurried welcome. HOW WE PRIORITIZE - YOU WILL USE THIS EVERY DAY The patient in the chair and the one walking through the door beat everything else. Then the rest of today's schedule. Then this week. Then projects. Before starting anything, you ask: what's walking in the door next, and is it ready? WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry Prepare, turn over, and maintain operatories throughout the day Follow infection control and sterilization protocols exactly Set trays correctly for restorative procedures (composites, crown preps, buildups, seats) Take and document dental imaging Keep clinical supplies, trays, and materials stocked and organized Communicate clearly and warmly with patients Support teammates to keep the day running well WHAT WE REQUIRE 3+ years of chairside dental assisting experience Strong four-handed assisting skills Genuinely organized and reliable Calm and professional under pressure Comfortable in a small, close-knit practice Confident with electronic dental records Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a strong plus WHAT WE OFFER A consistent Wednesday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM A calm, well-run practice - not a high-volume mill A team that communicates directly and does not do drama Real input into how we work - we expect our systems to improve, and we want your ideas Room to grow as the practice grows HOW TO APPLY Send your resume, and please answer the screening questions thoughtfully.
