Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fun Pediatric Office. The ideal candidate will love working with children and be a team player. Speaks Spanish a plus Duties: - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take dental x-rays - Make impressions of patients' teeth - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies Qualifications: -Speak Spanish - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification preferred - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate assistance This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the oral health of our community.
