Job Overview YKim Dental is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Sterilization Technician or Entry level dental Assistant to join our dental team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to kick start the career or takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Operate and monitor dental sterilization equipment, including autoclaves. Perform proper instrument processing and sterilization monitoring. Maintain sterilization logs and documentation. Set up and organize sterile instruments and procedure trays. Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area. Monitor sterilization supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Follow infection-control procedures and office protocols. Assist the dental team with basic operatory turnover and instrument preparation when needed. Maintain strict attention to detail and patient safety. Qualifications Previous dental sterilization or dental assisting experience is a plus Knowledge of dental instruments and infection-control procedures preferred. OSHA and infection-control knowledge preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be comfortable working as part of a dental team.
