Experienced Dental Assistant Abel Phan & Associates DDS PLLC is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is confident in the clinical setting, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, a strong team player, and comfortable assisting dentists with a variety of procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials before each procedure Welcome patients and help ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit Take and process dental X-rays Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to OSHA and infection control guidelines Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms Assist with laboratory tasks, impressions, models, and other clinical duties as assigned Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Maintain accurate and complete patient records Assist with patient flow to help keep the daily schedule running efficiently Support the clinical and administrative team as needed Qualifications & Skills At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is required Experience with four-handed dentistry Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, procedures, and sterilization protocols Understanding of OSHA, infection control, and dental office safety regulations Current X-Ray Certification preferred Registered Dental Assistant certification preferred EFDA certification or additional clinical certifications are a plus Experience with Dentrix software is a strong plus Experience with Invisalign a strong plus Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude Ability to provide exceptional patient care and customer service What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience: $21.00–$24.00 per hour Full-time and part-time opportunities available Health insurance benefits Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals Opportunity for professional growth and continued learning Job Types Full-time, Part-time Pay $21.00–$24.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Completion of a dental assisting program is preferred Experience Dental Assisting: 1 year or more (Required) Experience with Dentrix: Preferred License/Certification X-Ray Certification: Preferred Registered Dental Assistant (RDA): Preferred EFDA or additional dental certifications: A plus Work Location: In person If you are an experienced dental assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a team, and is looking for a professional office where you can grow, we would love to hear from you!
