PT Accelerated hygiene assistant with x-ray license - Dickerson Dental Group - Randolph, NJ

Large multi-specialty group practice looking for a part-time hygiene assistant to join our practice. Dental radiology license is a must , and RDA/CDA is preferred, but not required. As an accelerated hygiene assistant you will be one on one with the hygienist facilitating review of medical history, taking vitals, taking radiographs , handling sterilization duties, and assisting during exams. The perfect candidate should be comfortable with a fast paced environment and proficient in dental radiology. Duties include: - Assisting the dental hygienists - Take x-rays on hygiene patients, as well as for other providers as needed. (BWS/Pans/Ceph/CBCT) - taking and recording vitals - iTero scans - Help clean rooms - Instrument sterilization - Set up and stock rooms - Help monitor hygiene product inventory - Assist hygienist with patient charting - Assist the hygienist during preventative procedures (sealants, etc.) - Bring in patients - Schedule appointments - Assist doctor during exams Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
