We are currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our centralized clinical team supporting the following Won & Co.-managed practices: Bear Brook Pediatric Dentistry New Jersey Tongue Tie Center Bear Brook Orthodontics About the Role This is a full-time, career-track clinical position designed for individuals who are interested in developing a long-term professional career in dental assisting . Prior dental assisting experience is welcomed but not required. We provide fully paid, structured hands-on clinical training designed to help team members develop the clinical skills and competencies required for the position. As team members progress and successfully meet established training and performance benchmarks, the organization also provides support toward obtaining applicable professional credentials, including New Jersey dental radiology/X-ray licensure . This position is intended for individuals who want to become highly skilled clinical professionals, take on increasing responsibility, and continue growing within the organization over time. Because of the significant training and professional development invested in this role, this position may not be the right fit for candidates primarily seeking short-term clinical exposure, temporary employment, or a transitional role before pursuing another career path . We are looking for individuals who are genuinely interested in building and advancing a long-term career in dental assisting. Your Work Environment This position is primarily based in our clinical settings in Hoboken, New Jersey , where you will work directly alongside pediatric dentists, orthodontic providers, and other members of our clinical team. Our pediatric dental practice has been recognized as one of the leading pediatric dental practices in the Hoboken community, reflecting the high standards of care our team works together to maintain. Our providers and clinical team members work closely together, support one another throughout the day, and take pride in delivering the best possible care to our patients. Depending on operational needs, team members may also work across Won & Co.-managed practices to support patient care and clinical operations. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental, orthodontic, and other specialty procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and clinical equipment Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures in accordance with established protocols Support efficient patient flow and clinical operations throughout the day Communicate professionally and compassionately with children, parents, and caregivers Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support radiographic procedures within the scope of applicable training and licensure Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment Work collaboratively with providers and clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care Schedule This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position , with scheduling occurring Monday through Saturday. Weekdays: Typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break Saturdays: Typically 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Availability for at least two Saturdays per month is required When scheduled on a Saturday, one weekday will be provided as a day off Candidates should be able to maintain a reliable and consistent full-time schedule Compensation & Professional Development $23–$27 per hour Starting compensation is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, licensure, and demonstrated clinical competency.
