About this role We are adding a part-time dental assistant in Plainview to support a busy, high-production schedule. You will work chairside with doctors who move quickly and teach as they go, on cases that will build your skills fast. What you will do Assist chairside for restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and implant procedures Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans, and capture clinical photography Set up and turn over operatories, and maintain instrument sterilization to protocol Prepare and pass instruments, take impressions, and place temporaries within your scope Keep the doctor on schedule and communicate clearly with the front desk on handoffs and next visits Track and restock clinical supplies What we are looking for Two or more years of chairside experience preferred; strong newer assistants with implant or surgical exposure will be considered Meets New York State requirements to take dental radiographs Current CPR/BLS certification Eaglesoft experience helpful; intraoral scanner experience a plus Dependable, quick on your feet, and willing to jump in wherever the day needs you Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Schedule Part-time, three to four days per week including Saturday mornings 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additional hours may become available as the schedule grows.
