Overview Oak Creek Dental Care is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing Assess patients' oral health and document findings Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Take high quality digital x-rays and intraoral images Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and preventive care Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes in patient charts Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning Sterilize and maintain instruments in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment Ensure all materials and supplies are stocked and organized for daily procedures Experience Experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting preferred but not required Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology Experience with Eaglesoft preferred but not required Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with the dental team.
