Position Overview This is a part-time, two-location position serving patients at both 32 Village Dental in Elk Grove Village and Western Springs Dentistry in Western Springs . The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care at both offices, foster strong patient relationships, and support our doctors and team in delivering a top-tier patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance procedures Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting Take and evaluate digital radiographs and intraoral images Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall health connections Review patient medical and dental histories; document findings in the electronic health record Assist in diagnosis by collaborating with the dentist during exams Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive materials as indicated Maintain a clean, organized, and sterilized operatory following OSHA and infection control standards Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination Qualifications Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license Current CPR certification Strong clinical and communication skills A positive, team-oriented attitude and passion for patient care Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software preferred Schedule & Compensation Part-time: 1–3 days per week across both locations Elk Grove Village: Every other Saturday required Western Springs: 2 days per week, with flexibility on which days Two-location flexibility: Candidates must be comfortable working at both office locations Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Why You'll Love Working Here At 32 Village Dental and Western Springs Dentistry, you’ll join a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, growth, and patient-centered care.
