About the Role This position offers a great opportunity for someone to learn dental care coordination (front receptionists) and work with a great team at the highest-rated Endodontic practice in Arizona (Feel free to read our google reviews by looking us up). Our office specializes in saving patients' teeth through root canal treatments. Because we are an emergency-based practice, our receptionists focus on effectively moving appointments to ensure we get can accommodate a large number of emergency cases. Top-notch customer service is where we thrive -- caring for the patient even if they're having a bad day. The role is both challenging and rewarding, and you will have the opportunity to work with an excellent team that lives by our core values. To support your success, we provide detailed, step-by-step systems and regular coaching. As a receptionist in our practice, you’ll be trained to: Schedule patients for treatment Check patients in and out Process payments Answer phones Acquire insurance estimates for patients Audit records Send reports Other administrative tasks as needed A Few Important Things to Know: This job involves two main things: 1) Talking to people, listening, and taking care of patients. You need to be good with people and a really good listener. The way you treat our patients and referring offices is the most important part of your job. We want people to feel heard, cared for, and well taken care of. 2) Paying attention to details and doing things correctly. You will be entering information and scheduling patients over and over again, so you need to be consistent and careful. Following our scheduling processes and getting the details right is very important. This job requires a big heart and a mind for efficiency and accuracy. You need to care about people while also being organized, careful, and consistent. Our care coordinators must be comfortable speaking on the phone consistently with a pleasant and friendly tone. *Candidates must be able to touch type on average 30 WPM. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $19–$20 per hour Bonus opportunities: Daily team performance-based bonuses available Schedule: Three days a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Note: Medical and dental insurance are not offered.
