About us Loveland Pediatric Dentistry is owned and operated by one pediatric dentist. We take PPO and fee-for-service patients. We are paperless and use modern technology like Solea laser dentistry and digital impressions. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care. We need someone three days per week: Every Monday 8:30am-5:00 pm Every Thursday 7:30 am- 5:00pm alternating Tuesdays (7:30am-5:00pm) or Friday (7:00am-1:00)pm. *** Please note: will consider less days/hours. Pay based on certifications and experience Duties - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment - Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently - Familiarity with Open Dental software for patient charting or willingness to learn quickly - Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures including one IV sedation day in office per month - Obtain or be willing to obtain nitrous oxide-monitoring certificate Requirements - Proficiency in X-Ray procedures on children and active radiographer license in Ohio - Must have two years full time assisting experienc in order to qualify for nitrous oxide monitoring course - Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus - Ability to perform tasks using proper aseptic technique - Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices -Ideal: nitrous oxide monitoring certificate, sealant certification, coronal polishing Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Free parking Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Uniform allowance Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Ohio radiographer license (Required) Ability to Commute: Loveland, OH 45140 (Required) Work Location: In person
