Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: 5303 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232 Job Type: Full time Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary: Reynoldsburg Dental Group is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience, strong chairside skills, experience assisting with restorative and general dentistry procedures. We are looking for someone who is organized, efficient, comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during general and restorative dental procedures Assist with crown and bridge procedures from start to finish Take impressions and fabricate, adjust, cement, and remove temporary/provisional crowns and restorations, as permitted under Ohio dental regulations and dentist supervision Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures Assist with fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, dentures, and other general dental procedures Take high-quality dental X-rays/radiographs in accordance with applicable certification requirements Take impressions, bite registrations, and other records needed for restorative procedures Review and update patients’ medical and dental histories Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols Maintain dental supplies and ensure operatories are properly stocked Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members Perform other clinical dental assisting duties within the scope permitted by Ohio law Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience REQUIRED Strong experience with crowns, bridges, temporary/provisional crowns, impressions, and restorative procedures REQUIRED Experience assisting with general dentistry procedures Dental radiography/X-ray certification as required by Ohio law Dental Assisting certification or diploma preferred Experience with Dentrix dental software preferred Knowledge of digital X-rays and dental imaging systems Strong chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting Certification using X-ray technology and related equipment Benefits: Competitive hourly pay Consistent full-time schedule with a 4-5 day work week Friendly & Supportive work environment Opportunity for professional growth and development How to Apply: Please send your resume and contact number to secure.swathi@gmail.com We look forward for your application!
