Dental Assistant Lead - - Foley, AL

We are seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to support daily clinical operations while helping train and mentor the dental assisting team. This full-time opportunity pays $25–$30 per hour , based on experience, and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, patient-focused, and comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities in a busy dental practice. Responsibilities Assist dentists with general, pediatric, restorative, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials. Take dental X-rays/radiographs and maintain accurate patient records. Follow sterilization, infection-control, HIPAA, and safety standards. Train and onboard new Dental Assistants on clinical procedures and office protocols. Provide coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day support to the dental assisting team. Help coordinate clinical workflow, room readiness, supplies, and team coverage. Promote a positive patient experience and collaborative work environment. Support scheduling and patient communication as needed. Qualifications Previous Dental Assistant experience in a clinical setting. Lead Dental Assistant, training, mentoring, or senior-level experience preferred. Strong knowledge of chairside assisting, dental terminology, radiographs, and sterilization procedures. Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar systems preferred. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
