Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Bath, ME
Job Summary We are a private, doctor-owned general dental practice in Bath, Maine. We have been at the same location for over 20 years and are a close-knit team of two doctors and eight team members. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is interested in part-time hours, with the opportunity for additional hours as our schedule grows. Our immediate need includes Friday coverage, but this position is not limited to Fridays . We are open to discussing a schedule that works well for the right candidate and the needs of the practice. We are also open to assistants who are interested in occasional per diem fill-in work. This could be a great fit if you are looking for a consistent part-time schedule without committing to a full-time position, or if you currently work at another dental office and are looking to add hours to your week. The day: Chairside for restorative, hygiene support as needed Digital radiographs and intraoral scanning Sterilization, room turnover, instrument setup Eaglesoft charting Answer phones and assist with routine patient calls as needed Learn and gradually support basic front-office responsibilities as your role develops Looking for: Maine dental radiography license, or eligible and willing to obtain Chairside experience preferred, four-handed restorative a plus Reliable and on time, comfortable in a small team where everyone pitches in Professional, friendly, and patient-focused What we offer: Competitive hourly rate, with a premium for short-notice per diem coverage No nights, no weekends Current equipment and a stable office Room for more hours as the schedule grows Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Paid training Application Question(s): Why are you interested in joining our team?
