Job Overview Our friendly, patient-focused dental office is looking for a warm, energetic, responsible, and dependable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, has a positive and outgoing personality, and takes pride in doing a job well. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing and able to work in both the front and back office , depending on the needs of the practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist with clinical procedures and patient care Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule Verify insurance, explain basic financial information, and collect payments Assist with front-office and administrative duties as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Communicate effectively with patients and team members Provide friendly, respectful, and excellent customer service Be willing to help with both front-office and back-office responsibilities based on the needs of the practice Follow office policies and procedures and complete assigned tasks accurately and responsibly Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and positive personality Responsible, dependable, and punctual Strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working with patients and communicating with people Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Willing to learn new skills and take initiative Able to multitask in a busy dental office Excellent verbal communication skills Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Previous dental experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance Supportive and friendly work environment Opportunity to learn and grow within the practice Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Language: Spanish (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
