Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Dracut, MA

Dental Assistant â Entry-Level Opportunity No prior dental experience required â we will train the right candidate! We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and caring individual who is interested in starting a new career in the dental field . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent high school graduate or someone looking for a career change. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during patient procedures and learn to anticipate the dentistâs needs and prepare for the next steps of treatment. Learn and follow all OSHA, HIPAA, dental board, infection-control, and office policies and procedures . Maintain accurate patient treatment records. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist and within the appropriate scope. Provide patients with basic oral hygiene instructions as directed by the dental team. Prepare operatories before patients arrive, including turning on necessary units, switches, water, and equipment. Keep operatories, restrooms, and laboratory areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Monitor supplies and notify the appropriate person when items need to be reordered. Inform the floor supervisor of broken or malfunctioning equipment. Learn and perform sterilization and instrument-processing duties according to office protocols. Make sure operatories are clean, organized, and ready for each procedure. Prepare operatories and supplies for the following day's schedule before leaving the office. Work as part of a professional, friendly, and supportive dental team. Perform additional duties as assigned based on office and business needs.
