Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated experienced superstar for a position of dental assistant in an established private dental practice. Knowledge in all aspects of dentistry - restorative, implants, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and invisalign. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention management policies. Take and develop dental X-ray images while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards including CBCT Perform chairside assisting duties communication skills involving treatment planning with doctor and patient experience with intraoral scanning and in office teeth whitening Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following dental sterilization procedures and infection control protocols. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with patient management software and acting as a dental receptionist when needed. Stay updated on the latest dental terminology, equipment usage, and advancements in medical imaging technology like 3D scanners. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proven experience in dental assisting Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and sterilization procedures. Experience operating dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety at all times. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and treatment plan.
