Overview This is a part-time position to fill our Tuesday and Wednesday schedule. Two full days from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and possible additional days . We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize 3D scanning technology for accurate imaging and impressions. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as a dental receptionist when required. Assist in endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic according to health regulations. Educate patients on post-treatment care and general oral hygiene practices. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices. Knowledge of dental systems and software is beneficial for efficient patient management. Proficiency in taking X-rays and using 3D scanners will be highly regarded.
