Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental hygiene services, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for signs of Periodontal disease, cavities, and infection Provide excellent Dental Hygiene services Utilizing the most advanced Air Flow system Strong Interactive Oral Hygiene instruction with patients Ability to take dental alginate impressions Panorex and intra-oral radiographs Assist dentist during procedures and exams Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Qualifications Associateâs Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree preferred Current Dental Hygienist licensure At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly Excellent communication and Patient interactive skills
