Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, following safety protocols Conduct oral health assessments and document findings thoroughly in patient records Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and professionalism Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and understanding Maintain strict infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment areas efficiently Skills Valid license or certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, procedures, and current industry standards Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and engage patients of all ages Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments Proficiency in using dental software systems for documentation and scheduling (preferred but not required) Join us to be part of an energetic environment where your skills directly contribute to healthier smiles!
