Dental Hygienist – Private Family Dental Practice | Hiring Immediately Coalville Dental Care is looking for a dental hygienist to join our small, privately owned practice in Coalville. We are a local, relationship-based office where patients know our team and our team knows our patients. We are looking for a hygienist who wants to provide excellent care, build real relationships with patients, and be part of a close-knit team long term. One thing that is important to us: we treat our hygienists as providers. You will have autonomy to evaluate your patients, educate them, make appropriate periodontal and preventive recommendations, and use your clinical judgment. We want you to take ownership of your schedule and your patients rather than feel like you are simply being asked to “clean teeth.” Pay: $50/hour Schedule: Wednesdays, 8:00–5:00 Location: Coalville, Utah Start: Hiring immediately What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Friendly, confident, and professional with patients Comfortable independently managing a hygiene schedule Thorough with periodontal assessment, charting, and documentation Comfortable diagnosing hygiene needs and discussing periodontal treatment with patients Focused on patient education and prevention Comfortable working with children, adults, and older patients A team player who communicates well with the dentist and front office Interested in building long-term relationships with patients and the practice What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis Perform periodontal charting and periodontal therapy as indicated Take diagnostic dental X-rays Educate patients regarding periodontal health, home care, prevention, and recommended treatment Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the dentist Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting Help patients feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for Work collaboratively with the dentist and team to provide high-quality comprehensive care Why This Position Is Different Coalville Dental Care is not a corporate dental office.
