Job Title: Dental Hygienist Position Type: Full-time / Part-time Location: A New You Center for Dentures and Implants Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental team. In this role, you will provide exceptional preventative oral care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices. You will work closely with our dentists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a friendly and professional environment.Key Responsibilities Preventative Care: Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing. Patient Screenings: Assess oral health conditions, review medical histories, and conduct oral cancer screenings. Diagnostics: Take, develop, and interpret digital dental radiographs (X-rays). Treatments: Apply fluorides, sealants, and topical anesthetic agents as prescribed. Patient Education: Teach proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits for long-term oral health. Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient treatment records in our dental software. Sterilization: Disinfect instruments, prepare treatment rooms, and strictly follow OSHA and CDC safety guidelines.Requirements & Qualifications Licensure: Active State License as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Education: Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification; local anesthesia certification preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital X-rays and dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft). Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, a gentle clinical touch, and an empathetic bedside manner. Pay: From $45.00 per hour Work Location: In person
