The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist during procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment as a team player. A strong background in orthodontic procedures, previous experience as a treatment coordinator, and familiarity with Cloud 9 software is strongly preferred. Duties Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in the system. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment schedules and assist with patient flow in the office. Utilize dental software Cloud9 for record keeping and scheduling. Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Experience Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar dental role is preferred. Reliability and responsibility are key qualities. Knowledge of X-ray procedures and safety measures is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
