What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, youâll play an important role in creating a comfortable and positive experience for our patients while supporting the dentist and the rest of our team. Your responsibilities will include: Providing friendly, compassionate chairside support to patients Assisting the dentist during dental procedures including scans, impressions, temporary restorations, polishing and flossing, and other clinical procedures Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection-control procedures Preparing instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Taking dental X-rays and digital images Updating and maintaining accurate patient records Helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits Helping maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming office environment Following OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards Working closely with the team to keep the day running smoothly Requirements Active Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (RDA) 1+ year of dental assisting experience BLS/CPR certified within the past 2 years Strong communication and patient-service skills Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team Knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and OSHA/HIPAA procedures Ability to maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care Preferred Dental assisting program or formal dental assisting training Familiarity with dental practice-management software, especially Dentrix/Dexis Experience with chairside assisting, impressions, temporary restorations, and instrument sterilization Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Continuing education credits Employee discount Free parking Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Paid training Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
