Are you ready for excellence? Our dental practice is looking for an addition to our new team. The Dental Suite located in the Kent/Covington area, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone that shares the belief that close patient relationships along with an emphasis on cultivating a great team atmosphere are the foundations of building a successful practice. This candidate should have excellent communication skills, be professional, organized, efficient, and a self starter with a high standard of care. Experience with X-Ray is a must, and OpenDental experience is preferred. Only exceptional candidates with 2 or more years of experience will be considered. Competitive pay with some benefits. Office Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday / 8-5pm Beginning January 2027 operational days will be changing to Tuesday through Thursday with alternating Mondays. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Willing to help in any area of the practice when necessary SKILLS Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Xray certified and ability to take digital X-rays Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Must be able to work independently and multi-task Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) X-Ray: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Ability to Commute: Kent, WA 98042 (Required) Work Location: In person
