Daniel Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant. We are a modern, technology-forward practice in Miami Gardens where every day runs on preparation, precision, and real care for the person in the chair. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is genuinely excellent: someone the doctor never has to ask twice, who has the next instrument ready before it is requested, and who leaves every patient feeling looked after. Compensation: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience Job Type: Full-time, in person SCHEDULE Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM WHAT YOU WILL DO Chairside assisting: true four-handed dentistry across restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and endodontic procedures, staying one step ahead of the doctor at all times Procedures you will support: crowns, veneers, fillings, dentures, implants, extractions, root canals, Invisalign, 3D scanning, and 3D printing Imaging: capture diagnostic-quality digital X-rays (PA, BW, pano), intraoral photos, and digital scans on the first attempt Sterilization and infection control: run instrument processing and operatory turnover to full OSHA and CDC standards, every single time Patient care: greet, seat, and reassure patients, explain post-operative instructions in plain language, and follow up on how they are doing Operatory and equipment readiness: set up trays, monitor supply levels, maintain handpieces and equipment, and keep the schedule moving Documentation: chart accurately in real time, update medical histories, and keep records audit-ready Team support: partner with the front desk on scheduling, treatment presentation, and same-day case flow QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED Florida Radiography (X-ray) Certification, current and in hand Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general or multi-specialty practice Current CPR / BLS certification Proven four-handed assisting skill: efficient instrument transfer, isolation, retraction, and high-volume suction with minimal direction Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral scanning Working knowledge of OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards, with impeccable infection control practice Clear, confident English communication with patients and team members Reliability you can point to: on time, present, and prepared, with references who will confirm it QUALIFICATIONS - STRONGLY PREFERRED This is what separates a good assistant from the best.
