Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and treatments Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment Take and develop X-rays as needed Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Manage patient records and documentation accurately Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Collaborate with the dental team to improve office efficiency. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting preferred Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices Experience with chairside assisting and taking X-rays Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
