Full or Part Time Dental Hygienist - Karla R McDonald DDS LLC - Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Provide comprehensive prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling & root planing according to established periodontal protocols. Perform periodontal assessments, charting, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, and intraoral photography. Administer local anesthetic and provide local chemotherapeutic and laser therapy as prescribed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and prevention. Build trusting relationships while ensuring patient comfort and reducing anxiety. Collaborate closely with the Doctor to identify clinical findings and develop appropriate patient care. Maintain accurate clinical records and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards. Prepare for each day by reviewing charts, participating in daily huddles, and maintaining an efficient schedule. Support recare and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. Requirements Current Wisconsin RDH license. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. Current CPR certification and authorization/certification for local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as applicable. Strong periodontal assessment and instrumentation skills. Excellent communication and patient education skills. High attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence. Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality of care. Experience with practice-management and digital imaging software preferred. Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
