What You'll Do Assist doctors during general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and other dental procedures. Practice efficient four-handed dentistry and anticipate the doctor's needs throughout treatment. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures. Take high-quality digital X-rays and other diagnostic records as needed. Follow proper sterilization, infection control, OSHA, and patient safety protocols. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. Provide patients with clear pre- and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation. Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patients. Support efficient patient flow and help the clinical team stay on schedule. Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, administrative team members, and patients. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the practice. What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, instruments, and materials. Experience with digital radiography and dental practice software preferred. Excellent communication and patient-service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care. Dependable, professional, positive, and team-oriented. Comfortable receiving feedback and eager to continue learning. Radiology certification and other state-required credentials, as applicable.
