Job Summary Buccieri Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Part-time (Tu/Th), Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinator for coverage during Maternity (Dec '26->April '27) with potential to join the team permanently. This role blends patient care, clinical assisting, and front-office support in a friendly, orthodontic private practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is organized, dependable, professional, and a team player. Responsibilities Greet patients and families with a welcoming, professional attitude Support front desk operations and patient flow Assist with new patient consultations and treatment education Chairside assisting for the orthodontist as needed Take digital photos and iTero digital scans for records for doctor to review Prepare and turn over treatment rooms between patients Sterilize and process instruments per office protocols Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Communicate with patients and parents regarding appointments and treatment updates Support daily clinical and administrative operations Patient promotion with lamination of news paper articles, and developing social media posts Ideal Candidate Friendly, positive, and team-oriented Reliable and punctual Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment Professional with strong communication skills Willing to learn both clinical and administrative duties Dental/orthodontic experience preferred but not required Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail; typing skills are essential for documentation accuracy. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to orthodontic care is preferred but not mandatory.
