Registered Dental Hygienist Full-Time | $43–$49/Hour | Four-Day Workweek SmileViera is looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Viera, Florida! We believe excellent dentistry takes time, which is why our hygienists receive a full hour for routine cleaning appointments and up to two hours for new-patient examinations. Your Role As a SmileViera hygienist, you will: Provide thorough preventive and periodontal care Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate clinical documentation Take digital radiographs and other necessary diagnostic records Administer local anesthetic when qualified Educate patients about their current oral health and home-care needs Review previously diagnosed treatment and reinforce the doctors’ recommendations Help patients understand the importance of completing necessary treatment Work with the administrative team to help patients schedule treatment before leaving Maintain a strong continuing-care and periodontal-maintenance program Use CEREC and iTero digital scanners as part of patient care and treatment planning Track and record personal performance statistics and key hygiene metrics Review performance results and participate in opportunities for continued improvement Communicate clinical findings clearly to the doctors and the rest of the team Create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient A Modern Practice With Technology That Supports You SmileViera is a fully paperless, technology-driven practice featuring: CBCT and 3D imaging DEXIS digital X-rays Dental lasers CEREC digital scanning iTero digital scanning Same-day, in-office crown design and milling Dentrix practice-management software Zoom whitening A wide variety of comprehensive dental procedures Qualifications Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license Local-anesthesia certification or authorization preferred Current CPR certification Strong communication and patient-education skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Dental hygiene experience is welcomed, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Come Join SmileViera!
