Take and develop diagnostic radiology images such as X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently, documenting patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes with precision. Monitor patient conditions during appointments and report any concerns or abnormalities to the dental team promptly. Support clinic operations by handling medical documentation, maintaining sterilization protocols, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Requirements Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist with state-specific certification. Proven experience in dental hygiene practice or a similar healthcare setting; clinic experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and diagnostic radiology techniques. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively during patient care activities. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and documentation management. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients clearly and empathetically about their oral health needs. Additional qualifications such as critical care experience, blood sampling skills, CPR certification, and experience with medical documentation are advantageous.
