Job Overview We are seeking an Orthodontic Sterilization Technician to join our team. No prior experience necessary! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment within our orthodontic practice. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and a team-player with the ability to multitask and follow directions in a fast-paced environment. We also offer opportunities for advancement to orthodontic chair-side assistant for those interested. We have 2 office locations (Alpharetta and Marietta) and candidates must be able to travel to both locations. Duties (Include but are not limited to) Preparing instruments: Preparing instruments for sterilization and decontamination Operating equipment: Operating equipment like washers, sterilizers, autoclaves, and heat sealers Maintaining inventory: Maintaining and updating logs and records of supply transactions Setting up treatment rooms: Setting up treatment rooms for each patient Assisting with patient care: Assisting doctor and chair-side assistants in various procedures Following safety procedures: Wearing personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, masks, and utility gloves Following infection control protocols: Adhering to enhanced infection control protocols and PPE requirements We encourage candidates who are passionate about maintaining high standards of patient care and safety to apply for this essential role within our practice.
