Dental Assistant - LeCroy Dental Arts - Blowing Rock, NC

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including same day crowns, root canals and surgery. We would love someone full time, but could discuss part time options. We will consider new graduates with a DAII certificate from certified year long programs. Responsibilities: - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment - Take intraoral and extraoral radiographs - Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments Experience: - X-Ray certification - Knowledge of dental coding procedures - Familiarity with Open Dental/Dentrix or similar software - Understanding of HIPAA regulations - Ability to perform patient assessment and vital signs monitoring Technology of note: CEREC PrimeScan/Mill for crown and bridge, 3D printer for surgical guides and models, soft tissue laser, and Nitrous Oxide cart.
