Responsibilities Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures by preparing and passing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient comfort. Take dental X-rays using digital radiography systems Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix Process dental instruments through sterilization procedures following infection prevention management standards to maintain aseptic technique. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health. Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and healthcare infection prevention standards. Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with industry best practices.
