Schedule (days/hours): Mon-Wed 730-515, Thur 730-415, Fridays PRN Responsibilities: Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures. Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures. Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within your credentials. Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization and safety standards. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies. Support an efficient, organized clinical environment. Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient. Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care. Qualifications: Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment. Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine commitment to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude. Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.
