Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and dental terminology, and develop effective treatment plans aligned with patient needs. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Ensure aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are strictly followed during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and other specialties to provide the latest evidence-based care. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice as a Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, medical documentation, and client communication. Familiarity with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Knowledge of anesthesia administration techniques suitable for pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication tasks, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and education; ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
