Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Portland, OR
Overview We are a private family practice modern dental office looking for an experienced dental assistance 24-35 hours weekly. You will support the dentists and hygienists by providing chairside assistance, This is a great office, with a caring dentist , one associate , 3 part time hygienist and three dental assistants. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, ortho and oral surgery procedures, using advanced dental instruments and equipment Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up and ensuring all materials are ready for patient care Take accurate dental x-rays and medical imaging using a digital system. Manage patient records Provide patient with information explaining procedures, answering questions about oral health, and assisting with patient comfort throughout visits.
