Sterilization Technician

Are you organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to become part of a caring orthodontic team? SmileHaus Orthodontics is looking for an outstanding Sterilization Technician to help us maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment.

Previous dental experience is helpful but not required—we are open to training the right person. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in dentistry or orthodontics.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, works well with a team, and understands the importance of cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and properly store instruments

• Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols

• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment according to established procedures

• Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate required records

• Prepare instruments, trays, and materials for patient appointments

• Clean and disinfect treatment areas between patients

• Keep the sterilization area organized, stocked, and running efficiently

• Monitor supplies and notify the appropriate team member when items need to be reordered

• Assist with laundry, clinical organization, and general office cleanliness

• Support the clinical team to help the patient schedule run smoothly

• Help maintain the high standards of care our patients expect from SmileHaus

What We’re Looking For

• Previous dental or orthodontic experience is preferred but not required

• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions

• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy

• Ability to stay focused in a busy clinical environment

• Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude

• Ability to be on your feet and perform the physical duties of the position

• Required certifications or training must be completed as applicable
