Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Wakefield, MA

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Administrative Assistant to join our family dental practice. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Superior patient care skills are of utmost importance. This is a full-time position with benefits. Office hours Monday 8amâ5pm Tuesday 11â6pm Wednesday 8amâ5pm Thursday 8amâ5pm Responsibilities Assist the doctor with all aspects of fourhanded dentistry, including taking X-rays, taking and pouring impressions, and other various clinical roles. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention management protocols. Take and record vital signs, medical history updates, and other patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix. Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications through patient management software. Performing in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Being able to multitask in fast-paced environment. Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred, but not required. We will provide the training and mentorship needed to develop a truly great dental assistant. Minimum Requirements Active CPR certification is required. Computer skills are absolutely required.
