We’re Growing Come Grow With Us! Job Summary Super Smiles Orthodontics is looking for a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant who is interested in transitioning into orthodontics . This is a great opportunity for a dental assistant who has a strong foundation in general dentistry and wants to expand their skills into the orthodontic field. Previous orthodontic experience is not required, we are willing to train the right candidate! We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Schedule 4–5 days per week (NO WEEKENDS) 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Schedule may vary based on office needs Pay $17–$21 per hour , based on overall dental experience, clinical skills, and qualifications. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures Take dental X-rays, photographs, impressions, and digital scans as trained Learn orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and appliances Assist with bonding, adjustments, debonding, Invisalign, retainers, and other orthodontic procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment areas Document treatment accurately in patient charts Educate patients and parents regarding oral hygiene and orthodontic care Work closely with doctors, clinical assistants, and the front-office team Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day Qualifications Dental assisting experience preffered Dental Assistant Certification required No orthodontic experience necessary, training will be provided Dental X-ray certification preferred Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable learning new clinical techniques Able to multitask in a busy dental environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Employee Benefits After 90 Days: 2 PTO days Uniform reimbursement Employee discount on orthodontic services After 1 Year: 1 week PTO 2 sick days After 3 Years: 2 weeks PTO 3 sick days Why Join Us?
