Our growing pediatric dental practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. We are looking for an energetic team player who enjoys working with children and is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a positive, family-focused environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist in delivering quality pediatric dental care. Perform expanded functions as permitted by state regulations and certification. Take and process dental radiographs. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate clinical records. Support a smooth and efficient patient experience. Qualifications Required: Current Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification. Current Dental Radiology/X-Ray certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Positive attitude and strong attention to detail. Preferred: Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification. Previous pediatric dental experience. Experience with dental practice management software.
