Dental Assistant Nona Smiles | Lake Nona, Orlando, FL Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, No weekends Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience Location: In person Position Summary Nona Smiles is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing general, preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during clinical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain sterilization and infection control standards, document patient information, and support the daily clinical workflow. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and general dental procedures Prepare and organize treatment rooms before and between appointments Take digital dental X-rays Maintain sterilization procedures and infection control standards Accurately chart and update patient records in Eaglesoft Provide patients with post-operative and oral hygiene instructions Monitor and restock clinical supplies Assist with maintaining an efficient clinical schedule and workflow Help ensure treatment areas and equipment are properly maintained Provide professional and courteous patient service Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other team members Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience Current Florida X-Ray Certification required Previous dental assisting experience preferred Eaglesoft experience strongly preferred CPR/BLS certification preferred Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Strong communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Ability to multitask in a busy dental office Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus Compensation & Benefits $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience Paid holidays Dental Benefits Professional development opportunities Modern dental office and technology Full-time Monday–Friday schedule No weekend hours Opportunities for long-term employment and advancement About the Practice Nona Smiles is an established dental practice serving the Lake Nona and Orlando communities.
