Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Rockton, IL
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused dental team. This is a part-time position with potential to full time. This is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care. Reliability is essential in this role. Our patients, doctors, and clinical team rely on every team member to be punctual, maintain consistent attendance, and come prepared to support a full and productive schedule. Schedule MondayâWednesday: 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM â 1:00 PM Responsibilities Assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols Provide exceptional patient support and communication Assist with clinical and administrative duties as needed Weâre looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual , with a strong commitment to consistent attendance Clinically minded and eager to expand their dental knowledge and skills Compassionate, attentive, and genuinely focused on patient needs Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Able to anticipate what the doctor and team will need next Qualifications 1â2 years of dental assisting experience required Current CPR certification required Coronal polishing and sealant certification preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with Dentrix dental software is a plus but not required Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
