Treatment Coordinator / Front Desk Coordinator â Dental Practice (Midtown) Our high-quality, growing dental practice is seeking a Treatment Coordinator/Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Front desk reception and customer service; check-in/check-out Scheduling and confirming appointments; responding to emails, calls, and texts Efficiently filling provider and hygienist schedules using patient lists and optimized bookings Insurance verification, claim and pre-determination submission, and following up on claims or payment issues Reading insurance policies to determine estimated total coverage for patients Calculating and collecting co-pays; collecting past-due balances and managing accounts receivable/collections Expertly presenting treatment plans with clarity and accuracy to ensure patient understanding and buy-in Personalized patient follow-up and case acceptance Explaining dental terminology and the importance of oral hygiene/treatment to patients Building trust and rapport with patients through empathy and strong communication Multitasking effectively and handling upset patients with professionalism Managing financial transactions with accuracy and discretion Requirements: Previous dental experience required (front desk and/or treatment coordination) Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance billing procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear writing, correct grammar/spelling, and professionalism Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dentrix a plus) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike How to Apply: If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!
